The Viega Sphere - it all starts with the feeling. Even before you enter the actual cinema room, it takes hold of your whole body. Like a pulsating heartbeat. Triggered by the basses, which are modeled on the real heartbeat. But the Viega Sphere offers much more for the senses and the mind. The Viega Sphere was built as part of Viega World, Viega's innovative seminar center. With the Viega Sphere, the technology leader in the installation industry presents a high-end experience space for immersive multimedia presentations. In the 360-degree space, the company presents its purpose as well as areas of expertise such as drinking water hygiene and digital construction. The dramaturgy of the presentation is based on the question: "How do we want to live in the future?" The films, produced using 2D CGI, 3D CGI and 360-degree live action shot technology, take the audience on an immersive, visually stunning journey.
"The technical components and processes, be it the signal management, the acoustic upgrading of the room or the 360-degree equalization of the screen - presented us with major challenges. We pushed the limits of what was possible to achieve the best possible image and sound experience. Every detail was adapted and optimized to the special requirements on site. This also makes the Viega Sphere unique in technical terms."

Equipped with 3D glasses, visitors enter the 360-degree experience room. There they are surrounded by 42 meters of screen. Reflective glass surfaces on the floor seemingly extend the 6-meter-high screen into infinity. A construction of tubes pulsating with light is enthroned on the ceiling. 12 laser beamers generate up to 80 million pixels on the screen surface. The sound from 40 loudspeakers captures visitors from all directions. Spatial sound allows voices and sounds to be positioned freely in the room. The audience's gaze is directed through the room.
A digital twin-building of the Viega World was created using the BuildingInformation Modeling (BIM) method. A stereoscopic film on digital construction transports Sphere visitors right into the twin-building of the Viega World. The audience experiences construction processes and systems that act as the"lifelines of the building" from a new, never-before-seen perspective. Specialist technical topics such as the collision testing of pipelines or the construction of routes are presented in a clear and tangible way. The Viega Sphere thus opens up a new dimension in knowledge transfer.
