We are Markgraph

Independent, open to formats, open to discourse, knowledge-driven, progressive — That's who we are. Atelier Markgraph.

We create immersive spaces that we think and design holistically, informatively charge and extend into the digital world.
Whether it's a brand space, an exhibition, a seminar and performance center, a showroom or an appearance at a leading trade fair: We present complex topics in an understandable way, make connections tangible and make brands tangible. We transform the spatial experience into a unique and collective experience.

Our work culture is based on cooperation. For us, experience and new perspectives always go hand in hand. There are no wrong questions. It is important to us to be thoughtful and flexible, to illuminate blind spots and to react when we see potential for improvement. We grow together with every new task.

We want to make our contribution to a more climate-friendly and equitable world. Together with our partners, we drive sustainable solutions forward with creativity, innovative strength and courage.

Everyday life in the Atelier

More stories and insights:

We have always worked at interfaces between corporate and culture, analog and digital, nature and technology, the temporary and the permanent. Time and again, we exceed the limits of conventional storytelling. In doing so, we always strive for excellence. In this way, we create resonant and lasting moments of shared experience. A valuable contribution for people, institutions and brands.

Interdisciplinary Team

From idea, concept, planning to design and implementation, thanks to our interdisciplinary expertise, we can offer holistic solutions from a single source — strategically, technologically, creatively and operationally.

How it all began

Atelier Markgraph was founded in 1986 by Meinhard Hutschenreuther, Roland Lambrette and Rolf Engel on Markgrafenstraße in Frankfurt am Main - as an agency for spatial communication. From 1990 to 2012, Christoph Meyer joined the founding trio as a shareholder and was significantly influential in the further development and interdisciplinary orientation of the studio.

The generational and owner change took place in 2017. Today, Lars Uwe Bleher and Stefan Weil are managing directors together with Tom Schubert.

The management

The management trio was expanded in 2023 to include a management level.
