An exhibition for the Mercedes-Benz Museum that shows projects, initiatives, cooperations and visions as well as already realised products under the title “Future Mobility“.

The challenge

To design a spatial translation of future scenarios of mobility.

Our approach

The development of an entertaining adventure parcour, which encourages participation and playful experimentation with the help of our specially designed stations.

Skills

Concept, design, realisation

How will we travel in the future?

Which role will the automobile play? Will cars become game consoles or smartphones? And will it be sustainable? The “Future Mobility” exhibition at the Mercedes-Benz Museum explores these questions.

In the four chapters excite, intuitive, energize and responsible, the exhibition unfolds various facets of future mobility.

But, in order to not solely remain on the theoretic level, already realized products such as the fully electric EQC offer concrete examples of the future of mobility.

The creative principle alternates between visual and tactile immersion.

In this way, visitors can already gain an insight into Mercedes-Benz's cooperation with e-scooter manufacturers and its commitment to the Volocopter air taxi. These experience formats have already been tested at the IAA 2019 in Frankfurt am Main.

However, the focus is on the future:

the Vision URBANETIC show car provides a glimpse of life in which autonomous driving will be an every-day thing. The Vision EQ SILVER ARROW concept car, for example, shows how real and virtual driving experiences will be combined. This aspect can be experienced interactively in the Speed Board Game, where visitors can surf along a fictitious Formula E racing course and earn a high score. In addition, Ambition 2039 reinforces the clear narrative line that mobility is becoming more and more climate-friendly.
