Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-Benz Bank welcome selected guests to their VIP boxes in the MHPArena in Stuttgart. A stylish ambience and an excellent view of the game make events and customer meetings in these rooms a unique occasion.

The challenge

Redesign of the Mercedes-Benz VIP boxes in the VfB Stadium in Stuttgart: the interior design was to authentically reflect the brand identity and values of the company and strengthen the emotional bond with the brand.

Our approach

The spatial concept is inspired by the idea of a “private club” – combined with the luxury and comfort of an elegant hotel suite. The design emphasises the status of the boxes and underlines the exclusive experience offered to the guests.

A new look for the stadium and boxes

The two-year renovation of the MHPArena in Stuttgart was completed at the end of March 2024. The Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-Benz Bank VIP boxes were also given a new look as part of the renovation work.

Brand experience in a limited space

Measuring 55 and 25 square metres, the two newly designed club suites offer guests a special quality of stay. Inspired by the exclusivity of a “private club” and the comfort of an elegant hotel suite, the club suites provide the perfect setting for unique occasions – whether sporting or concert events or customer meetings.

The interior design is characterised by high-quality materials and surfaces, comfortable furniture, an individual lighting concept and the latest audio and video technology.

Surprising details and subtle branding

The events and meetings that take place in the rooms should be able to stand on their own and be effective. Colours, materials and furniture were therefore chosen with restraint. The accentuated colour scheme and unusual material contrasts create simple elegance and support the special ambience. The use of logos has also been deliberately reduced. Subtle reliefs and stylised patterns lend the rooms a confident style.

Natural materials such as wood and natural stone create a cosy atmosphere, which is enhanced by the lush greenery of numerous plants and subtle accessories.

High-quality, durable materials combined with well thought-out design solutions enable long-term and sustainable utilisation of the rooms.
