The signage system at Viega World offers visitors a clear orientation and at the same time enhances the staging of the brand. It combines functional signage with an eye-catching design that complements the architecture.

The challenge

To offer seminar participants and visitors intuitive and well-structured navigation in the indoor and outdoor areas that supports the architectural aesthetics of the building and the brand image.

Our approach

Our concept combines well-defined visual hierarchies with an intuitively understandable design. Targeted contrasts facilitate orientation. At the same time, the signage system reinforces the spatial and visual brand experience.

300 INDOOR AND OUTDOOR POSITIONS

Viega World sets new standards as an innovative seminar centre. Target group-specific communication and interactive offers support the seminar programme and provide unique insights into the Viega system world, technical application areas and methods. A signage system with around 300 positions spread over 2,800 square metres of exhibition space and the entire outdoor area ensures optimum orientation. It serves as orientation from the access road, car parks and entrances to the exhibition halls, seminar rooms and underground car park. At the same time, it eases access to the exhibits and ensures optimal visitor guidance through the various themed areas.

IDENTITY-CREATING CORPORATE DESIGN

The signage system is based on clear visual hierarchies. Black lacquered signs with bold yellow edges, which symbolise Viega‘s brand identity and are derived from the logo, form the basis for the minimalist, high-contrast design. Typography, lines and overlapping dynamic surfaces of the exhibition graphics are reflected in the visualisation. Simplicity and precision characterise the appearance in order to enable quick orientation and at the same time emphasise the architectural aesthetics of the building.

A WELL-DEFINED SIGNALING SYSTEM AND VISUAL HIERARCHIES

In the interior, wall and door signs guide visitors through the building. The glass doors are covered with designed foils that also serve as a walk-through protection. The large floor lettering is in eye-catching corporate colours and is clearly visible even from a distance. An intuitively understandable set of pictograms developed especially for Viega helps to guide visitors.
